Why A Rose Canyon Cantina Page?
We've created this Rose Canyon Cantina page on our
Night-Creatures site to let you know about one of our favorite places
to visit in Orange County when we want to relax, enjoy some
beautiful scenery, and enjoy great food and drinks with friends and
family. Located in Trabuco Canyon in southeast Orange County, it's
difficult to imagine that you're so close to city life, and that is part
of the charm of the Rose Canyon Cantina.
Those of you who have been
following this band, and previous band's Tommy & Bill have been in, may
already know this place, but you remember it as Senor Lico's Secret
Hideaway & Mexican Restaurante. It's still the same charming little
place in the same great location, but this Cantina has been fixed up,
restored, newly painted, has new furniture, patio covers, propane heaters,
and has had lots of love put into it by owners John & Melanie Cox.
And the food and service are top notch, not to mention the salsa, which is
to die for!
We've included some of the
pictures here that John & Melanie have on their own site, to give you a
preview of what their place has to offer, and we hope that someday soon we
will be able to entertain our fans in a summertime concert on the Rose
Canyon Cantina patio. But until then, you'll definitely have to make
this a stop on your travels to sample the charm of this 'Must Try' eatery,
nestled among the oak and sycamore trees at the foot of the Santiago
Mountains.
