Making his
Night-Creatures debut, is well-known local-area blues bassist, Rick
Frost, who will be hitting the Coach House stage for the very first
time at the Billy Vera & The Beaters show on July 26th.
However, Rick is no newcomer to the rock scene either.. In
fact, he is an ex-bandmate and close friend of Creature's guitarist,
Nick Calandrino. Together, they performed in a band called G.I.,
which they started in the early 1980's.
The band dressed up in
military-style clothing and gear and also acted the part, both on
and off the stage. They performed at many
Southern-California-area clubs and concert venues, and appeared with
Motley Crue at the Glendale Civic Auditorium in the '80's. |
